About Steve
Steve Milano has been teaching tennis since the 1980s, though he spent most of his career as a business executive. Steve is back on the courts a few nights a week to help Metro Atlanta tennis players improve their games, get a great workout and have fun.
Steve has taught many ALTA teams since moving to Atlanta in 2000. His men’s and mixed ALTA teams have won more than a dozen division and city championships, and he helped his USTA men’s team win a state championship.
He is the former executive director of the Professional Tennis Registry Foundation, the founder of the U.S. High School Tennis Association, former executive editor of TennisPro magazine and ran the PTRF International Tennis Symposium for several years.
Steve has traveled the country training American coaches via workshops, seminars and conferences appearances, and has conducted workshops for or lectured at various tennis federations events around the world.
